Meet Dr. Callaway – Sports Medicine Specialist in NC

Dr. Hadley Callaway specializes in shoulder, knee & arthroscopic surgery. He is the medical director of Raleigh Orthopaedic Surgery Center. He is also a clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at UNC Medical School. 

Dr. Callaway was trained at Harvard and HSS, the #1 hospital in America for orthopedics as ranked by USNews. Dr. Callaway also has extensive sports medicine experience, having served as head team physician for the USA Mens National Hockey Team (2005 and 2011 World Championships) and NHL Carolina Hurricanes (1998-2002). He also spent time as assistant team physician for the NFL New York Giants (1993-94). Leadership positions Dr. Callaway has held include President of the North Carolina Medical Society from 2008 to 2009 and chairman of the Departments of Orthopaedic Surgery at Rex Healthcare and WakeMed Raleigh from 2004 to 2006. His physician assistant is Lauren Wall, PA-C.
