Dr. Schreiber is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in all conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and elbow. His clinical interests include fractures and soft tissue trauma including tendon and neurovascular injuries, inflammatory and osteoarthritis, compression neuropathies, wrist arthroscopy, Dupuytren disease, elbow instability, and congenital hand deformities.

Dr. Schreiber began his academic career at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned dual degrees in French and biology while graduating with the highest distinction in the top 5% of his class.  Prior to starting medical school, he spent a year completing a research fellowship at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, France while also taking classes at the University of Paris.  He then received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he was elected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.  Dr. Schreiber completed his surgical internship at Cornell University/             New York-Presbyterian Hospital and his orthopedic surgery residency at the #1 ranked Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.  After residency, he received additional hand surgery education at Oxford University and the Pulvertaft Hand Centre in England.  He completed his training with a hand and upper limb surgery fellowship at Stanford University.

Dr. Schreiber has authored over 20 peer-reviewed original research publications on hand, wrist, and elbow pathology in many of the top journals in orthopedic surgery, including the Journal of Hand Surgery, the Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery, and the Journal of Shoulder & Elbow Surgery.  He has presented over 40 scientific studies at various national and international orthopedic conferences.  He has additionally authored multiple book chapters, received several research grants, and been awarded for a top paper at a scientific meeting on three occasions.  During his residency, Dr. Schreiber was awarded the Russell Warren, MD Research Award for demonstrating excellence in orthopedic basic science and translational research.  He is a candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with his wife and twin children.
