Raleigh Orthopaedic Surgery Center Donates $250,000 to Alliance Medical Ministry

On Thursday, June 22, 2017, Raleigh Orthopaedic Surgery Center (ROSC) presented Alliance Medical Ministry with a donation check of $250,000.

ROSC selected Alliance Medical Ministry as the recipient of the donation as a result of their dedication to supporting the health and well-being of our community by offering quality comprehensive medical care to a vulnerable population that maximizes resources and produces optimum patient outcomes for healthier, more engaged lives. Even with healthcare reform, between 90,000 and 95,000 Wake County individuals remain in the so-called healthcare “gap” — they do not qualify for Medicaid, do not earn enough to be eligible for healthcare subsidies, and cannot afford to purchase health insurance on their own.

“Giving back to the community is important to Raleigh Orthopaedic,” said Sean McNally, Chief Executive Office for Raleigh Orthopaedic. “We are thrilled to be able to make this donation as an example of our commitment to the people of Wake County.”
