Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic is honored to celebrate the incredible career of Dr. Callaway, who has dedicated over 31 years to caring for patients as an Orthopedic Sports Medicine surgeon in Wake County. After decades of providing expert care, Dr. Callaway has announced his retirement, effective April 14, 2025.

Throughout his career, Dr. Callaway has been a trusted provider, known for his commitment to helping patients recover from injuries and return to the activities they love. His expertise, compassion, and dedication have made a lasting impact on the community, and his presence at Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic will be greatly missed.
While Dr. Callaway prepares for his well-earned retirement, Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic remains dedicated to providing the same high level of orthopedic sports medicine care that his patients have come to expect. The clinic’s board-certified, fellowship-trained sports medicine surgeons are fully equipped to continue delivering expert care for both new and returning patients.
Patients currently under Dr. Callaway’s care are encouraged to schedule any necessary follow-up appointments before his retirement date. After April 14, 2025, Raleigh Orthopaedic’s appointment schedulers will be available to assist with transitioning care to another ROC Orthopaedic Sports Medicine provider or making appropriate referrals if needed.
A Grateful Farewell
Dr. Callaway has expressed his deep appreciation for the patients, colleagues, and staff who have been a part of his career. He has found immense joy in helping patients regain mobility and lead active lives, and he cherishes the many personal and professional relationships he has built along the way.
While Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic will miss Dr. Callaway’s presence, we celebrate his incredible contributions and wish him the very best in this next chapter. His legacy will continue through the outstanding team at Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic.
