The Thomas B. Dameron Jr. Foundation for Orthopaedic Education, founded by Raleigh Orthopaedic’s own Dr. Thomas B. Dameron, is proud to host its 31st Annual Dameron Lectureship in Orthopaedics this spring. The Dameron Foundation is a Raleigh‑based charitable organization dedicated to promoting orthopaedic education, advancing clinical skills for healthcare providers, and improving musculoskeletal care throughout North Carolina. Its mission focuses on collaborative education that strengthens the connection between orthopaedic specialists and the broader healthcare community.
This year’s lectureship, titled “Optimizing the Surgical Journey: Infection, Recovery, and Readmission Reduction,” will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the McKimmon Center in Raleigh, NC. The conference is designed to support primary care providers, nurses, and physical therapists by offering practical, competence‑based sessions that can be immediately applied in clinical settings. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in interactive demonstrations on musculoskeletal examination techniques to enhance diagnostic confidence and patient care.
