Telephone Triage Nurse

Full-Time Position. The Telephone Triage Clinical Assistant performs telephonic clinical assessments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and may have delegation of duties by a Physician.  The Telephone Triage Clinical Assistant uses clinical judgment and approved medical protocols to determine the nature and severity of a patient’s condition, the appropriate treatment options and how soon treatment needs to be provided.  The Telephone Triage Clinical Assistant does not diagnose but imparts information and advice to patients about the level of care needed.

Must have a current RN or LPN certification.  Prefer 3 to 5 years’ experience in clinic-based nursing or hospital-based orthopaedic service.  Must have an ability to communicate clearly and concisely and work effectively with physicians and other staff members Must have strong knowledge of computer technology. To submit resume and cover letter, send to hr@raleighortho.com.
