BPPV is the most common type of vertigo. It is characterized by a brief spinning sensation usually lasting less than 1 minute which is caused by changes in head position.

Vertigo can develop when you get in and out of bed, roll over in bed, tilt your head back (like in a dentist chair or salon sink) or by bending forward to pick up items from the floor.

These symptoms can cause a persistent feeling of imbalance and dizziness as well as nausea or vomiting.

There is good news! BPPV can be treated effectively in few treatments!

Come learn more about the anatomy of your inner ear and how your vestibular system plays a crucial role in overall balance.
