COVID-19:  JULY 1, 2022 MASK UPDATE

June 28, 2022 | By: Raleigh Orthopaedic Team

Effective July 1, 2022

Face coverings and masks will be optional for patients, providers, and employees of Raleigh Orthopaedic in all clinic locations. Our providers and staff with patient interaction will wear a mask if requested by the patient. While we no longer require masks, please be kind to those who choose to wear a mask.

Raleigh Orthopaedic values the health and safety of our patients and staff. In accordance with CDC guidelines, Raleigh Orthopaedic is following best practices to provide you and our employees with a safe environment. Here is how we help protect you from COVID-19 and other illnesses:

  • Increased hospital grade cleaning and disinfection of our offices, waiting and exam rooms. We will be paying close attention to areas that are touched frequently, such as doorknobs.
  • All clinical areas at Raleigh Orthopaedic will continue to be sanitized with hospital grade disinfectant between every patient.
  • We are following strict hand washing protocols for all employees.

If you are showing any symptoms of illness, including COVID-19, or if you have had direct exposure to someone with a known infection of COVID-19 within 5 days, please call (919) 781-5600 to reschedule your appointment.

As a reminder, Raleigh Orthopaedic Urgent Care locations are for patients who need urgent or acute orthopedic care such as recent fractures, traumas and patients with rapidly deteriorating symptoms. Our urgent care locations do not specialize in cold and flu symptoms and you should contact your primary health care provider.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation with the masking changes as we continue to navigate this pandemic together.
