Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic has an on-site Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics department at all four of our Clinic locations in the Triangle. Orthotics and Pedorthics is the evaluation, fabrication and custom fitting of orthopedic braces.

The Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic Orthotic and Pedorthics department is staffed by an Orthotist and Pedorthist. An orthotist is a healthcare professional that specializes in planning, making, and fitting orthopaedic braces and similar devices such as surigcal supports and corrective shoes. A pedorthist is a healthcare professional trained in the manufacting, fitting, and modification of foot appliances and footwear for the purpose of alleviating painful or debilitating conditions.
