Q: How do I find job opportunities at Raleigh Orthopaedic? 

Our Careers link is located on our website at  www.raleighortho.com. Job opportunities are listed under four areas, i.e. Raleigh Orthopaedic Surgery Center (ROSC), Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic (ROC), Raleigh Orthopaedic Therapy Services and Athletes' Performance at Raleigh orthopaedic for both our Raleigh and Cary locations.

Q: How do I apply to for a position at Raleigh Orthopaedic? 

The first step is to browse job opportunities at our careers link.   If you find a position that interests you and is a match with your experience, skills, and abilities, click the link at the end of the position summary where you will be able to attach your resume and cover letter for consideration.

Q: How do I check the status of my resume? 

Raleigh Orthopaedic receives a large volume of resumes each day, we are unable to personally contact each applicant.  We will contact you via telephone or e-mail if your background and experience is a match with the job opportunity for which you applied.

Q: How long will my resume remain on file? 

Resumes are not kept on file.  Applicants must apply for each position they are interested in.  The careers link is updated on Thursdays of each week.

Q: Is it necessary for me to have an e-mail address to apply for positions at Raleigh Orthopaedic? 

No, it is not necessary for you to have an e-mail address to apply for positions. However, Human Resources may use email as a method of communicating with you. While not required, an email address is recommended.

Q: When do positions close? 

At the point a manager is ready to make a job offer to a candidate, applicants will no longer have the ability to view or apply for that position.

Q: Can I apply for more than one position? 

Absolutely! We realize that you may be qualified for more than one of our opportunities and welcome your application. We do encourage you to carefully review the job responsibilities and requirements of an open position prior to submitting your application and apply to only those positions for which you are qualified.

Q: Do I have to apply for a specific position? 

Yes. Many different positions are available at Raleigh Orthpaedic with varying responsibilities. It is necessary for you to apply for a specific position in order to be considered for employment.

You can update your contact information by forwarding an email to hr@raleighortho.com.  Please make sure that you indicate in the Subject Line this is Contact Information Update.

Q: Why was I not selected for a position? 

Managers consider many factors when reviewing applicants and strive to hire people who most closely meet the requirements of the job. While more than one candidate may meet those requirements, managers have to make difficult decisions when determining to whom a position will be offered. We unfortunately do not have the ability to hire all the excellent people who are interested in working at Raleigh Orthopaedic.

Q: Would having a criminal record affect one's chance of getting a job with Raleigh Orthopaedic? 

Applicants with a criminal record are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Be honest and forthright concerning your background during the interview and application process. Applicants that are found to have falsified their application will be rejected.

Q: Are there positions that require work shifts and/or weekends? 

For the most part, positions at Raleigh Orthopaedic are Monday through Friday with no evenings, holidays or weekends required.  Typical hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.  However, there are several departments who must operate on a different schedule.  Please review the schedule requirements stated for each specific position.

Q: Where is Raleigh Orthopaedic Human Resources located? 

The Human Resources department is located at our main office at 3001 Edwards Mill Road in Raleigh, NC.
