Raleigh Orthopaedic Surgery Center recently received re-accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Accreditation distinguishes our ambulatory surgery center from many other outpatient facilities by meeting nationally recognized standards and providing the highest quality of care to patients as determined by an independent, external process of evaluation.
The evaluation involves an extensive, independent self-assessment and on-site survey by AAAHC expert surveyors – physicians, nurses, and administrators who are actively involved in ambulatory healthcare. The survey is consultative and educational, presenting best practices to help an organization improve its care and services.
Raleigh Orthopaedic Surgery Center, which opened in 2013, is the largest outpatient surgery center in the Triangle to specialize exclusively in orthopedics where patients receive outstanding patient satisfaction, superior clinical outcomes, and reduced costs.
