Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic is thrilled to announce the addition of two distinguished spine surgeons to our expanding team. Dr. Ryan Patrick McLynn and Dr. Yuri Alexey Andreiw Pompeu bring exceptional expertise and a commitment to patient-centered care, enhancing our ability to meet the growing needs of our community.
Dr. Ryan Patrick McLynn, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in spine surgery, joins us with an impressive academic and professional background. Dr. McLynn graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology. He furthered his education with a Master of Health Science and Doctor of Medicine from Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. McLynn completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in orthopedic spine surgery at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine. He will be seeing patients at our Garner, Holly Springs, and Edwards Mill offices.
Dr. Yuri Alexey Andreiw Pompeu, also a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon, brings a wealth of experience from his diverse educational journey. Born in Tubarao, SC, Brazil, Dr. Pompeu earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry summa cum laude from Murray State University, followed by a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Florida. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Dr. Pompeu further refined his skills through a spine surgery fellowship at Norton Leatherman Spine in Louisville, KY. He will be seeing patients at our Cary, Wakefield, Panther Creek, and Edwards Mill offices.
