Dr. Vaughn’s career spans more than 40 years in orthopedics, with a specialized focus on adult reconstruction, including total hip and knee replacement and complex revision surgery. He joined Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in 1992, bringing with him advanced fellowship training in adult reconstruction completed at Ohio State University, following his residency at the University of California San Francisco and medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Throughout his career, he became one of the region’s most trusted and respected leaders in joint replacement surgery.
From the beginning, Dr. Vaughn was known for his precision, thoughtful decision-making, and commitment to improving long-term outcomes for patients undergoing joint replacement.
