Hand Therapy

Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic has Certified Hand Therapists on-site at four of our clinic locations that specialize in the treatment of the hand and upper extremities.

The Hand Therapy Department provides comprehensive treatment, which includes:

• same-day customized splints
• patient education including prevention techniques as well as work strategies for those returning to the job

In addition, our occupational therapist work closely with our hand and upper extremity surgeons to design treatment plans specifically tailor for each patient and the therapist communicate regularly with our physicians to make sure our patients’ needs are being met with the specific treatment plan.

Our Therapists

Our therapists are members of the American Society of Hand Therapists, and they participate in numerous continuing education seminars to remain up-to-date on the latest treatment techniques.
