Raleigh Orthopaedic Imaging Services
Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic has on-site state-of-the-art technology to diagnosis and treat orthopaedic conditions.
Raleigh Orthopaedic Radiology (X-Ray)
An x-ray (radiograph) is a painless medical test that involves exposing a part of the body to a small dose of ionizing radiation to produce pictures of the inside of the body. X-rays are the oldest and most frequently used form of medical imaging. A bone x-ray makes images of any bone in the body, including the hand, wrist, arm, foot, ankle, knee, leg, or spine.
Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic uses on-site digital x-rays to facilitate immediate diagnosis of bone disorders during the patient visit. The digital x-rays are transmitted immediately to be viewed by our providers without a waiting period.
Raleigh Orthopaedic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or MRI, is an advanced diagnostic test which produces high resolution pictures or images of the human body without the use of x-rays or radiation. This technology enables physicians to detect developing diseases or abnormalities earlier than ever before. MRI uses powerful - but harmless – magnetic field and radiowaves like the kind that transmit to your favorite FM music. The combination of radiowaves and magnetic field produce detailed images of body structures.
