Meet Dr. Simmons – General Podiatrist in NC

Dr. Simmons is a board-certified general podiatrist specializing in foot and ankle ailments such as diabetic foot care, ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, warts, and painful calluses, along with general foot care.

Dr. Simmons is a North Carolina native who began his academic career at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Chemistry. He then received his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care Administration from East Carolina University. Following his Master’s degree, Dr. Simmons received his medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Following graduation, he completed a three-year podiatric surgical residency at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.

Dr. Simmons is available to treat various foot and ankle ailments such as heel pain, diabetic foot care, ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, warts, and painful calluses, along with general foot care.  He is a Fellow of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, a member of the American Podiatric Medicine Association, and the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society.

When not working, Dr. Simmons enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and watching his UNC Tarheels.
