Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic Participates in Health
Raleigh, N.C (July 13, 2012) – For the second year in a row, Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic participated in Healthy Communities Day. This event is held on the St. Augustine College Campus, and offers free medical screenings for more than 800 children from the subsidized YMCA Summer Day Camps.
With medical statistics showing that one in 50 children develop scoliosis, Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic teamed up with the WakeMed therapists to screen the children and provide educational resources to help them understand and recognize the importance of preventive screenings.
