Raleigh Orthopaedic Offers a Free Educational Fitness Program: Getting Started at Any Age or Fitness Level

Raleigh, NC (March 18, 2011) – On Monday, March 28, 2011 from 6:00 PM- 7:00 PM, Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic’s Physical Therapy Department will be hosting a free educational program to help you take the first step towards a safe and effective exercise program. The educational program is designed for anyone looking to get healthier and be more active, yet is being hampered by a current or old injury.  The experts at Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic will discuss different exercise program options to determine what is best for you, proper warm-ups and cool downs, how to overcome barriers to exercise, how to modify exercise and activity when you have an injury, safe posture and body mechanics, proper footwear and clothing, and basic nutrition guidelines.  

The free educational fitness program will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011 from 6:00 PM- 7:00 PM at 3515 Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh in the Physical Therapy Classroom. For additional information, please call 919-863-6928.
