Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic is the Exclusive Orthopaedic Provider for NC State Sports 

Raleigh, NC (January 14, 2010)-  Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic (ROC) is pleased to announce they have been selected as the exclusive orthopaedic provider for North Carolina State University’s 23 varsity sports teams and cheerleading, representing over 600 student-athletes. 

For the first time in 20 years, N.C. State will consolidate athletic care to a single orthopaedic group.  In recent years Dr. Robert Wyker, Dr. Wallace Andrew, Dr. Keith Mankin and Dr. David Boone have provided orthopaedic coverage for the N.C. State sports teams, including: men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, cross country, golf, gymnastics, rifle, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field, volleyball, wrestling, and cheerleading. 

Dr. Robert Wyker will now serve as the director of orthopaedic care for all athletes.  Dr. Lyman Smith, Sports Medicine Surgeon at ROC and former pro football player for the Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings, will serve as the team orthopedist for the N.C. State Football team. Dr. Matthew Boes, Sports Medicine and Shoulder & Elbow surgeon at ROC, will provide additional support for the N.C. State football team.
