Dr. David Boone Invited to Speak at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting

Raleigh, NC (February 8, 2011) – David W. Boone, M.D. of Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic was invited to speak at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Annual Meeting.  The meeting, to be held at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California on February 15-19, 2011, is intended to provide a stimulating experience in orthopaedic education, research and technology- the anticipation of new concepts and discoveries in the orthopaedic arena. Dr. Boone was selected to address “Diagnoses and Treatment of Chronic Ankle Pain”.

Dr. Boone is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with extensive training in foot and ankle surgery. He has also achieved board certification in orthopaedic sports medicine. Prior to joining Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in 1994, he received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed his internship and residency at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, and he completed a foot and ankle fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Boone specializes in the areas of foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, knee arthroscopy, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, and general orthopaedics. He is an active member of various professional associations and serves as a team physician for North Carolina State University.  Learn more about Dr. Boone.
