Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic Displays Former Spine Patients's Artwork at the Harden Road Office

Raleigh, NC (February 13, 2012)- Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic displays Ian Barrie's artwork at the Harden Road office. Ian is one of Dr. Keith Mankin's former spine patients. 

"Ever since I had my spinal fusion surgery I become fascinated with the internal structure," said Ian Barrie. "As I am studying to be an artisit, I want to go into further exploration. So I decided to create visual representations of various parts of the internal structure. In my work I like to explore different styles fo mark making, movement, and color."

Dr. Keith Mankin successfully operated on Ian Barrie's 60 degree thoracic curve in March of 2007. Ian recently completed his first semester at Monserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA. One of his favorite pass times is golf; he always carries his own bag.
