Dr. Joel Krakauer joined Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in 1996.  He served as Chief Resident and Clinical Instructor during his internship and residency at the Mayo Clinic.  Dr. Krakauer’s fellowship training was done with Cincinnati Hand Surgery Consultants at the University of Cincinnati in 1995.  He has published textbook chapters on the topic of hand surgery and has written numerous peer reviewed journal articles.  He has also made several presentations to orthopaedic hand associations throughout the United States.
