Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic has many dedicated physicians whose days do not always end when office hours or surgery is over. In the evenings and on weekends our sports medicine experts cover local high school athletic events to provide orthopaedic care.
Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic serves as the team physician for the following high schools: Broughton, Garner, Knightdale, Millbrook, Sanderson, Southeast Raleigh and St. David's.
Sports Physicals
Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic offers sports physicals for the local Wake County high schools to give every student-athlete the opportunity to get a physical exam and assessment for the upcoming school year. For the convenience of the athletes, coaches, trainers and parents, Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic conducts the sports physicals on the schools campus with 100% of the sports physical proceeds donated back to the high school.
Raleigh Orthopaedic's Fall Sports Injury Clinic is a weekly Saturday morning clinic to encourage all fall student-athletes to address early signs of injuries with appropriate medical intervention. The Saturday clinic is held from August to the second week in November from 9:00 am- 11:00am at the 3515 Glenwood Avenue location.
The clinic is staffed by sports medicine surgeons, clinical assistants and physical therapist. There is a $20 processing fee, and no insurance is necessary. Middle school and high school athletes under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic's Athletic Performance Center (APC) is committed to providing resources and information to student-athletes throughout Wake County, to assist them in succeeding in their athletic development. This year, we are recognizing student-athletes that receive recognition in the News & Observer or VYPE Magazine, and offering them a free 1 week trial of our sports performance programs at the APC. If the athletes are interested and take us up on the offer will be entered into a drawing for a $500 Athletic scholarship for one female athlete and $500 Athletic Scholarship for one male athlete, or a free training offer for one of the APC's summer programs, to prepare for their next step in their athletic career.
