The Hand Center offers specialized treatment of the hand and upper extremity for acute injuries, work-related injuries, repetitive strain, post-surgical care and degenerative disease such as arthritis. We work closely with our own hand surgeons and other area physicians and providers, communicating regularly about the patient's progress.

Our Occupational Therapists are board certified Hand Therapy Specialists with the enhanced skills necessary to provide expert comprehensive care. They are members of the professional organization, American Society of Hand Therapists, which promotes the profession and offers extensive information to patients as well as other health care professionals about Hand Therapy.

Comprehensive treatment includes same-day customized splints; patient education including prevention techniques as well as work strategies for those returning to the job; instruction in an individualized home exercise program which is diagnosis specific.

The Hand Center Mission is to maintain cutting-edge knowledge to ensure seamless patient care, while educating and empowering each patient to maximize their recovery/rehabilitation.
